How it all started
Vista Grande Church started as a church plant of First Baptist Church Tijeras. Meeting in the newly built Community Center. We incorporated and became VGC in 1999 and bought land across from East Mountain HS. Seeking Gods direction after many years sold that land and bought land on the east side of N14 and began the long process to build a permanent home. Until that is built we are going back to our roots and meeting with FBCT. Two churches one Mission.
Where We are Headed
We live in this wonderful community and want to give back. We are moving toward building a home here that we hope will be a light to this community we love.
A healthy church is one that proclaims the Gospel, equips Disciples, and plants churches as God provides growth. Our prayer is to help plant and develop healthy churches as the Lord leads us.
